Sorry about that. :) The link worked in Mozilla based browsers but not in IE based ones. I had a typo in the definition of the link, Mozilla ignored the typo and processed it, IE gagged but gave no real indication that a link was there. Phooey. :)

Thanks for the heads up. :)

Keshara,

This is a rather innovative work for Big Closet. Your artwork is quite good. I can appreciate the time and effort that you've put into it. Your story seems off to a good start, although it's too early to evaluate your plot.

I also realize how difficult it is to chamge text once it has been inserted into graphics. Unfortunately, you've got some spelling and grammar problems that detract from the overall appeal of your work. May I suggest that, in future, you type out your text and have an editor review it before it's placed into the graphics?

Please continue, there are more plusses then minuses here, and your overall result is good and interesting.

To Erin,

Is there a good reason why all of the images in 'Femmerton Manor' first show up in a small format and then each has to be clicked on to enlarge enough to read the text?

I'm on a dial-in connection, and Big Closet for some reason is always slower loading than most other sites (often takes longer to make the connection than to download the pages for some strange reason). It took me over half an hour to download and read the 9 pages in this story. Doing away with the smaller images would help immensely, not to mention reducing your bandwidth.

Hi Frilliette,

Yeah, I sat up this with only the defaults from the program and I have now changed it so that when the thumbnail from a page is clicked, you will see the full size verison instead of a half-size one. Once you've got the cover loaded, you can see the next or previous page by using the >> and << buttons near the top of the screen.

I'm also going to change the URL so it takes one immediately to the cover page instead of the thumbnails. :)

Thanks, again

Just goes to show that you don't spend the night in a place that starts with FEM. LOL. Seems like Trevor got himself into a predicament. Oh well, I assume SHE? will be very happy. Heehee. Nicely done, this part I enjoyed.

Innovative artwork, interesting story. Good for BigCloset to grapple with the technical aspects of making it available. I have to admit I wish there were people out there illustrating TG fiction who could actually draw, but this is still worthwhile.

Thanks, Keshara, for trying something new and innovative. I'm looking forward to the next instalment!

I would like to thank all the souls who have commented on Fem Manor thank you.
I do agree with those who say that text based stories are better so please don’t think I would like to change all the stories to this format.
As the saying goes Every Picture Tells A Story and I do like to see illustrated stories, but unfortunately these stories are never free and you have to pay to view them.
I actually got writing TG through an illustrated story by Lou Kagan, who is a great artist unlike me, called Lady Lovelock.
My story was done using a 3D program, I did state this on the cover that the story and concept was mine and I made no mention that the artwork was mine, for that belongs to the great people who helped design the program.
Anyway I do like to see a small illustration attached to a story now again as this does help considerably with a short story.
Erin your still a cartoonist and are more talented than me by the way, don’t let an art program and a photo manipulation program misguide you I know how much work goes into a real piece of art.

Once again everyone thanks!
